Go. Grow. Know. Show.
Hello Bobcat Families! This week we would like showcase our Buffett Middle Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), the individuals who are a part of it, and the amazing work they continue to do for our school, students, and teachers.
Did you know that our last fundraiser brought in $30,247! This is great news as we hit our target to meet our budgeted goal.
We are so thankful for all individuals who are a part of our PTO, but especially the officers who dedicate much time and talent:
President: Lusina Kavan
Vice-President: Christina Liermann
Treasurer: Joanne Bray
Secretary: Jeanine Robertson
Social Media Facilitator: Jolene Rasmussen
The PTO is looking to fill the vice-president and treasurer positions for the 24-25 school year. If you are interested, please contact the PTO.
This year, our PTO has provided the following opportunities for our school:
- Back to school breakfast and coffee for faculty and staff
- Target gift cards for each teacher for back to school wish lists
- Donut and Popcorn parties for BCD during the POP! fundraiser
- Pizza dinner for faculty and staff during student-led conferences
- Virtual Author Reading with Kwame Alexander for students
- Live presentation by Gerald Dickens (great-great grandson of Charles Dickens) for students
- Parent Smart Gen Society Information Presentation
- Much, much more!
Did you know that our PTO has their own social media accounts? Please check them out to see all of the amazing ways they continue to support our Bobcats:
