Welcome to my First Communion Sunday School website! My name is Ms. Hong and I will have the pleasure of teaching your child First Communion this year.

This is her first year teaching at St. Mary's School. She also taught 9th/10th grade Sunday School at St. Andrew Kim Korean Church from 2010-2011 and 7th/8th grade Sunday School from 2011-2012. In addition, Ms. Hong was a Bible Study Catechist from 2012-2013 for a Korean-Catholic college fellowship called Chun-Jin-Ahm, which is currently hosted by the Newman Hall Holy Spirit Parish in Berkeley, CA.
Her Alma Mater is the University of California, Berkeley | B.A. in History of Art (Emphasis in Western Art). During her undergraduate education, Ms. Hong was pursuing an Optometry career and was studying to double major in Integrative Biology and History of Art. However, she realized her true passion laid in the History of Art and decided to drop her Integrative Biology major three months before she graduated. She has never regretted this decision and says it is one of the most happiest decisions she has ever made!
Ms. Hong is an avid movie-watcher and musical enthusiast, loves to read books, and enjoys collecting Disney mugs as her hobby. She also enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking.
