Enviornmental Features
Ha Long Bay is comprised of around 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. It has an area of around 1,553km2. The liestone bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and climates. Ha Long is also home to 60 endemic floral species. The bay has mainly two climates: hot and moist summer and dry and cold winter, the average temperature is from 15c - 25c.
