There are several events next week and we hope you will be able to join us. Preregistration always enhances the check-in process at the front desk. Volunteer opportunities are also available. Check out the opportunities below. We are excited to have visitors on campus again.

Starting November 11, PTA is partnering with the Hill Country Christmas Bureau (HCCB) to provide gifts for children in need across Leander ISD this holiday season. Starting next Thursday, during Literacy Night, please stop by our Tarvin Giving Tree, to pick up a donation card to sponsor a child/toy donation. All gifts will be due by December 9 in front of the tree. We’ll then share them with the HCCB for preparation and delivery!

You may turn in your donation next to our Giving Tree (see labeled box) as well as purchase items via their Amazon wishlist. We just ask that those who donate through Amazon, to please type what campus they are donating from so we are better able to keep track of our campus donations.

Cards will be available on a first come first serve basis.

We were hopeful that we could invite our families to join us for Thanksgiving Lunch. Due to limited staff in our CNS Department, we are only able to provide lunch for our Tarvin students. In addition, out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of all our students and staff, we will not be permitting visitors to come for our Thanksgiving lunch on November 19th. Tarvin Elementary is so excited to announce our first-ever Career Day on November 19th from 8-9:30! We want our students to explore possible careers and get a real picture of careers in our community. We cannot do this without your help! We would love to have you volunteer your time and educate our students about your career/job. Every job is important! You can participate in our Career Day live via a 15-minute zoom presentation, or pre-record a 10-minute video, whichever works for you! If you are interested, please contact us and we will give you all the details! Please help give our students a glimpse of all of the wonderful career options out there for them! We look forward to hearing from you, just fill out the form below and I will be in contact!
