Mrs. Nafziger's Kindergarten News - Week 35 - May 11, 2016

Mrs. Nafziger's Weekly Update

The students are getting so excited for summer break, but they all have been doing AMAZING work this week! I couldn't be more proud of how well they have all done! Their reading and story writing is beyond beautiful! Wow! I'm so excited to see all of the great things they will do as First Graders next year!

Students have been busy learning about maps this week, and they were even able to create their own maps today! They all did an awesome job! I have included some pictures of them too! Our animal projects and map building has really made us ready for the Zoo! :)

Information about the Zoo field trip came home last night. All parents are welcome to chaperone, but there is limited availability on the bus. Many parents will need to meet us at the zoo. Just a quick, important reminder: If you have a Zoo pass, please make a copy and sign your name in pen on the paper copy with your pass. We cannot accept checks, so please be sure to send in cash for the admission fee. Please let me know if you have any questions at all!

Our end of the year ABC Countdown continues this week. This daily activity has been so much fun for the kids! Here are the activities for the rest of this week and all of next week!

May 12 - O is for Oh wow! What fun can happen today? (Students will have an extra recess and Popsicles for winning the music contest!)
