Randleman Elementary Family Newsletter: January 2019
A Message from the Principal...
Dear Randleman Families,
I hope this letter finds you well as you usher in a new year and a new decade. I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Randleman Elementary School-a school with a long track record of serving students and families in remarkable ways. Since 2003 I have worked with and served students in a number of capacities, including as a Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 4th Grade Teacher, as a Lead Teacher, and most recently as an Assistant Principal and a Principal. In each of these roles, my goal has always been, and will continue to be to put students first.
As an educator and a parent myself, I believe in holding high expectations for each of our Tigers, while always offering them a soft place to land. I believe supporting and educating the whole child is best done when we get to know and honor their individual differences. In order to do this best, I will work tirelessly to learn the students in my care, while partnering with you and with the tremendous educators in our building to insure that each student receives the education and support they deserve. It takes a village, right?
While I have two children personally-Ben is 9 and Owen is 5-you have my word that I will support, love, and protect every single Randleman Tiger as though they were my own.
With that said, please know that my door is always open. If I can be of assistance to your family in any way, please do not hesitate to call, email, or stop by the school. We are better together and I am excited to nurture the relationships between home and school to make amazing things happen for our Tigers.
Respectfully,
Ashley Barr
Principal
