Last Week for Volunteers

May 3-7 will be our final week for our regular volunteers. Thank you so much for all the time you have put in to help our students grow. You have truly made a difference!

Sight Word Lists

Next week will be our final week to check students on sight word lists. I will post all lists on my website under homework if you would like to continue to work on them. We are gearing up for our end-of-year assessments that will take place during the last few weeks of school.

Mother's Day Celebration

Our Mother's Day Celebration is one week away. Your child is welcome to dress up for this special occasion. Please wait outside in the hall. Your child will escort you in when we begin. The festivities start at 2:45.

Dad's Week

Dads are welcome to join us for lunch one day during the week of May 9-13. Just send us and email or note letting us know you are coming.

Beach Day

Beach Day will be on May 19 from 2:00-3:00. (The date may change to earlier in the week depending upon the weather forecast). We are in need of volunteers! If you are able to help out that day, you will be able to rotate with your child (and 3-4 other students) to each station. The stations are:

1. Pool

2. Water Musical Chairs (you will spray the kids as they are eliminated).

3. Water Obstacle Course (just keep the buckets filled with water).

4. Water Table

5. Snack Station

It is soooo much fun and you will be able to get lots of great pictures. Just sign up on the Sign-Up Genius that will be coming out soon.

Water Bottles

Please send in water bottles for your child to take on the playground.
