Senior Joe Lavelle placed 1st in the Section 1 Class C Cross Country Section Championships! Sophomore Ainara Schube placed 6th. Best of luck to both athletes on Saturday as they compete in the state championship in Verona, NY.

Counseling Connection
Final REMINDER: The deadline to drop a course or change the level of a course is at the end of the first quarter (Friday, 11/11). Any course dropped after this deadline will be recorded on your transcript as a Drop/Fail. If you have any concerns, please communicate with the teacher and your counselor of record.
Seniors: If you are applying to additional schools, you must add these schools to your transcript requests on Naviance. Without this step, counselors cannot send your supporting materials to these schools. Please refer to Step 6 in the NAVIANCE APPLICATION PROCESS.
REMINDER for Juniors: College and Career Prep course starts at the beginning of the second quarter. The course has been added to your schedule so check the student portal. ACE classes start on Monday, 11/14 and BDF classes on Tuesday, 11/15.

Rye Neck International Committee (RNIC) invites you to an info session for those interested in Undergraduate Study Abroad programs on Monday 14th November 2022 at 6:30 PM at the Mamaroneck Public Library. Nicole Zabotin, an independent college counselor and former Director of College Counseling at the French American School of New York (FASNY), will share her extensive experience supporting and advocating for students worldwide in their search for college options. The 30min introduction will focus on applications to Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, and France. Questions about other countries can be addressed during Q&A. On November 22nd, Manhattan College is organizing an in-person info session for high students to introduce them to the exciting discipline of chemical engineering, and specifically the program at Manhattan College. This initiative is targeted to any of your students with an interest in STEM disciplines. The intent is to provide them and their parents with an overview of the critical role of chemical engineers in our daily lives, and to consider chemical engineering as a major when submitting their college applications this fall. The session is scheduled on the eve of ThanksGiving Break (11/ 22/2022: 5:30 to 7:30 PM) to help both the students' and their parents' participation.
