THINGLINK - Create Interactive Images
We know how vital visual supports are to our teaching and learning. ThingLink is a visual learning platform that allows you to add images and videos to create interactive lessons and tutorials for your students. It’s also available for the iPad.
Sign up and view some examples of how ThingLink works. Here’s a demo of the online platform, a demo of the iPad app, and an online example presenting PreSchool Apps, using ThingLink.
If you're interested in trying ThingLink, or if you'd like a demo of Bitsboard, join me in the back conference room on Wednesday midday.
Quick Tip
There’s a new Google Doc feature that you might find useful - Voice Typing! Yes, you (or your students) can type with your voice! Voice Typing works only with Google Docs in your Chrome browser, but works with many languages. It also accepts voice commands so you can format and edit your Google Docs with key phrases.
Try it out! In your Chrome browser, create a new Google Doc. From the top menu, select Tools, and drag down to select Voice Typing. A dialog box will open, asking to allow use of your microphone. A small box opens at the left. Select a language, click the microphone and speak. To end the recording, click the microphone. To end the voice session, click the X.
