Chromebook Collection

Thanks to the generous support of LVEF and our community partners as well as funding from the State of California, LVJUSD is proud to be a “one to one” district. As students begin the next school year on August 24, 2021, each student will be provided with a Chromebook for their individual use - one Chromebook for one student.

So that we can provide sanitized, updated devices, we will be collecting all Chromebooks and chargers by Tuesday, June 15. We will also be collecting hot spots that have been checked out during the year.

Beginning with the 2021-22 school year, students will be issued a Chromebook and charger that they will keep and use for multiple years, until the Chromebook is taken out of service. We are planning to provide new devices to students in first and seventh grade, as Chromebooks have an expected life of six years.

If your child will be participating in summer school, please hold on to the Chromebook and charger until after summer school ends.

Thank you for your cooperation in returning the Chromebooks, chargers, and hot spots. Our IT team will work over the summer so that all students have access to reliable, updated technology to support their learning.
