A+ College Ready AP Exam Gift Card Recipients
The AP curriculum, administered by The College Board, consists of standardized high school courses that are roughly equivalent to undergraduate college courses. After completing an AP class, students typically take the AP exam in that subject, which can earn them credits and accelerated placement in college. Through the partnership with A+ College Ready, students earning a qualifying score on math, science and English AP exams received $100 gift card. Florence High School received a total of 113 gift cards for a total amount of $11,300 for their qualifying scores on these exams. FHS students were recognized at a ceremony organized by Ms. Glenda Page with the assistance of Mr. Donaldson in order to celebrate our students' success. To learn more about AP click HERE.

Congratulations National Honor Society Inductees
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921. This year Florence High School inducted 67 new juniors and seniors into the FHS Chapter. Congratulations to our new National Honor Society members!

Parking Passes
All students parking on the FHS campus must buy a parking pass. It is very important for all students to have a parking pass and to park in their assigned spaces. Students without parking passes or parking in other students' parking spaces may have their vehicles towed at any time. Students can buy parking passes in bookkeeping during Boost. Students must complete the parking permit form, have a valid driver's license, have proof of insurance and have all past fees paid. The cost of the parking pass is $15.00.
You can also purchase class rings, graduation announcements, senior apparel and more at the official Balfour school store.
