PrinciPAW's Post

Recently, our faculty and staff were trained for CPR and first aid. In addition to CPR, we learned that using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can greatly increase a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival. Therefore, we have decided to dedicate the funds raised through Penny Save to the purchase of an AED machine for our school. We hope to raise the necessary $1,200 to purchase the high-quality AED that is recommended. After purchase, our Red Cross trainer will return to Shreve Island to train faculty and staff on its use.

PENNY SAVE -- SAVE A LIFE!!!

Please continue to support Shreve Island's PTA by selling the Domino's Pizza cards. Our PTA is amazing and does so much for our students. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Spring Pictures are Friday. Students do NOT have to wear uniforms to school on this day. Students must wear closed-toed shoes.

Penny Save -- Save a LIFE!!!

Penny Save begins February 10th. OUR GOAL FOR THIS YEAR IS TO PURCHASE AN AED. Grade levels compete to earn the most money. During lunch, students place pennies in their grade-level jar. Each penny receives one point.

Students can also place silver coins and dollars in other grade-level jars. Silver coins and dollar bills take points AWAY from grade levels.
