May 2021: Rawlinson Parent Newsletter
Hello Patriot families,
I hope this message finds you well, and that your family is staying happy and healthy.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and the festivities have already begun! We cannot thank our Rawlinson teachers enough for the outstanding job they have done this school year. Rawlinson teachers have risen to & through the challenges their profession has faced this year. Rawlinson kids are "our kids," and that dedication is why our students have seen so much success this year.
I couldn't be prouder of our teachers, staff, students and this community.
Please take a moment, and thank a teacher.
"We are not "just" teachers, we are managers of the world's greatest resource, children." Robert Meehan
Below you will find important information regarding upcoming end of year events. You will also find information regarding summer camps on campus and around the district. For future planning purposes, the dates for August Prep Day, Meet the Teacher nights and the First day of school are also listed. Please don't hesitate to contact our office for additional details or questions, we are always happy to help.
Stay well and let's finish strong!

An athlete cannot try out for any sport, before completing ALL UIL paperwork found on the Rank One Parent Portal. Linked here: Rank One Parent Portal
STUDENTS NEW TO ATHLETICS:
All incoming 7th graders or any student that did not have a medical physical last year MUST complete a medical physical.
Two forms:

2. The medical history form must be completed online. (Found on Rank-One Parent Portal)
RETURNING ATHLETES(8TH GRADE):
If an athlete has a physical on file from last year, it is not required for them to complete another medical physical.
However, all required paperwork is required each year. Please log into the parent portal and complete these forms as soon as possible.
