Go paperless and stay organized!
What is Dropbox?
The Dropbox tool enables students to submit assignments in eCLASS C&I, eliminating the need to mail, fax, or email their work to instructors. Students simply upload their submissions to the appropriate Dropbox folder and submit.
The Dropbox tool allows teachers to see users’ submission times, download Dropbox folders to their computers, view submissions with the document viewer on the Evaluate Submission page, associate Dropbox folders to rubrics and competencies, and return submissions with grades and feedback.
Teachers can view users' submissions and submission dates in the Folder Submissions area. This eliminates the need to collect assignments and helps teachers track when files were submitted.
Create categories to group and organize your Dropbox folders. Teachers can also restrict access to Dropbox folders by date and time, group membership, or special access permissions. Each folder's Folder Submissions area has search and filter options that enable you to find users' submitted files by username, submission history, and amount of feedback they have received.
Teachers can use Dropbox for:
- A place for students to turn in documents
- A place for students to turn in pictures
- A place for students to create and submit audio or video files
Dropbox is great for turning in...
- audio of students reading or speaking (This can be recorded right inside Dropbox.)
- videos for presentations (This can be recorded right inside Dropbox, too!)
The possibilities are endless!
