New Training Coordinators Meeting

Tuesday, June 14th, 10am-3pm

7505 Northeast Ambassador Place, Suite R, Portland, OR, United States

Mark your calendars for June 14, 2016 because we're inviting you back to the NWPP offices for another round of drone crashing, virtual reality time travel, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Just kidding: mostly PowerPoint slides. We can't afford Neil. But we will have lasagna. After the success of our first-ever Training Coordinators meeting last November, the OC has approved us for round two. Stay tuned for the agenda and our special presenters! Meanwhile, please register online at nwpp.org so we know how much lasagna to order.

Check out our 3D modeling!

MARCH 2016

We’ve been developing digital 3D models of utility system equipment that we’ll incorporate into our training courses. Trainees will be able to interact with these models by rotating them side to side, zooming in and out, and learning about their various component parts through interactive annotations. If you or someone you know has access to cross sectional diagrams, schematics, or photos of various generators and substation components, we’d love your help making these models as detailed, and more importantly, as accurate as possible! Please contact David at david@nwpp.org.
