WINTER COAT DRIVE

Christ the King Parish, School, and CCD would like you to support the Salvation Army by donating gently used winter coats (child and adult sizes), scarves, gloves, and hats. Items can be dropped off from January 11th through February 5th. Collected items will be taken to the Salvation Army at the end of each week. Containers will be placed in Hehman Hall and in the elevator room inside the main entrance of the school. Let’s join together to help those in need within our own community. Stop by the hallway leading to Hehman Hall from the Adoration Chapel to see our “Coat of Many Colors” grow as items are collected. Thank you for your support!

USED UNIFORMS

Thank you to all who continue to donate used uniforms. We are finalizing a used uniform store that will be open twice a month! With that in mind, please be very mindful of what is being donated. If you would not purchase it back yourself, please don't send it. For example, torn pants, stained shirts, or extremely faded clothes should be not be donated. Also, due the new spirit wear, we will no longer be needing previous spirit shirts unless they are Team One. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to providing used uniforms on a more regular basis. --Megan Stephens PTO President

GIRLS ON THE RUN

Girls on the Run Spring season will begin in February! Online Registration is now open. Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based on positive youth development for girls in grades third through fifth. We teach life skills through interactive lessons and running games. The sessions are embedded with a self-esteem enhancing curriculum and uplifting workouts in preparation for the 5K running event. The benefits of the program include a stronger sense of identity, a greater acceptance of self, a healthier body image, and an appreciation of being part of a positive team.

We will practice Wednesdays and Thursdays after school.
