Student's Experience at UWBothell
Muggii:
Muggii, from Mongolia, transferred from shoreline community college to UWBothell in 2016. She currently is a junior student majoring in Business Administration and concentrating in Marketing and Management. Following is what she likes about UWBothell.
“Classes at UWBothell are relatively smaller, so students would have more of the opportunities to have conversations with the teachers. And classes here usually have faster pace and there are more group works for the class project.”
Smaller classes at UWBothell provides Muggii with more opportunities to interact with the professors.
Student's Experience at UWBothell
Togtuun:
Togtuun, from Mongolia, transferred from Seattle Central Community College to UWBothell in 2015. She is graduating this year with a degree of Business Administration specializing in Marketing and Management. She is planning to do OPT at global company with a position of management or marketing.
“Things that I like about UWBothell are that in a smaller scale of class, I would have more chances to talk with the teachers to learn more about their valuable experience in the real world beside the materials. And the teachers at UWBothell are always friendly and welcoming. I also like the environment at UWBothell, feels really clam and good for study.”
What she learned at UWBothell, “the classes at UWBothell changed my perspectives in a positive way and I learned a lot on handling difficult problems. UWBothell taught me that my voice can be heard and it is okay to be wrong since it helps me to improve myself.”
With her own experience at UWBothell, Togtuun has some wise words to share with students,
“Be focused and be attention, like Dr. David Shaw said, ‘method is very real life’. Be sure to contact with advisors at UWBothell and get to know them. Don’t do that in the last minutes.”
