What to expect this week.

  • Front doors will open at 7:15am. First bell rings at 8:15am. when students arrive on campus, they will go to the Gym, until they are released to class.
  • Students who arrive after the 8:15am bell, will receive a Tardy. Unless they have arrived to school on a late bus.
  • March 8th - Cheer MANDATORY Parent Meeting (Leaman LGI)

  • March 12th - 8th Grade 2022 Washington & Colonial Virginia Trip
  • March 14th - 18th Spring Break!!

Attention 8th graders going on the 2022 Washington and Colonial Virginia Trip

Attention 8th graders going on the 2022 Washington and Colonial Virginia Trip: We leave for our trip on March 12th. That is less than 3 weeks!


Please make sure you drop off your Medical Emergency and Code of Conduct forms to Coach Walters if you have not done so. He is room 1420.


Please remember to set your appointment soon for your Covid-19 PCR test. The test must be taking within 3-5 days of our departure date. All students must present a negative test before departure.

Leaman Junior High School is sharing the below information about the district and your child’s campus with you as part of its obligations under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).


Federal Report Cards for the state, the district, and each of the district’s campuses are now available on the district’s website at this link: https://www.lcisd.org/departments/academics/raa/performance-reports-and-legal-postings or are also available on the Texas Education Agency’s website at: https://tea.texas.gov/finance-and-grants/grants/essa-program/federal-report-card. A detailed description of these reports is enclosed.


If you have difficulty accessing the information from the website, hard copies of the reports can be requested from the district or campus office.
