City Manager Candidates

Hosted by the NW/SW Neighborhood Steering Committee

The NW/SW Neighborhood Steering Committee will be hosting a Community Forum for all candidates being considered for the City of Delray Beach City Manager position. The purpose of this forum is to give candidates an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues that affect the residents of the NW/SW Neighborhoods such as: redevelopment of the West Atlantic Corridor; neighborhood strengthening, public education, health services, crime, and open communications between residents and city officials.

The Format

1. Individual interviews will last approximately 30 minutes.

2. Each candidate will be allowed to make a two minute opening statement.

3. Candidates will be interviewed by a panel of five key stakeholders representing the NW/SW neighborhoods. Candidates will have a maximum of 1-1/2 minutes to respond to each question.

4. At the conclusion of the forum, each candidate will be allowed to make a two minute closing statement.
