Inherited and Acquired Traits

The Difference Between Inherited an Acquired Traits
Inherited traits are traits that are passed down from your parents and grandparents. You cannot change inherited traits. Acquired traits are traits that you learn how to do your self, like hobbies and skills. You don't get acquired traits from your parents.
My Inherited Traits
Blue Eyes
I have blue eyes. That is an inherited trait that came from my parents.
Blonde Hair
I have blonde hair, which is also an inherited trait. It probably came from my Mom.
Attached Earlobes
I have attached earlobes, which is inherited.
Acquired Traits
Playing Guitar
One of my acquired traits is guitar playing. I am pretty good and have taken plenty of lessons to get where I am currently.
RC Flying
I am very good at flying RC airplanes. I have practiced a lot and have been flying for over a year. It is very fun and implements engineering skills to build and fly the airplanes.
Building and Fixing Things
I am very good at building things, especially in kits. I also like fixing things. For example, when I crash and break my airplanes, I don't get mad because I like fixing them. Usually I just laugh at the damage.
