DFES Learning Celebrations
2017 - 2018 edition of making our learning public
Purpose of Learning Celebrations
Learning celebrations demonstrate the following:
- Our learning matters and is important to others.
- We are all teachers (tall and small).
- We are part of a larger school community.
- Help students become comfortable with public speaking.
- Showcase learning so outsiders learn to value the joyful rigor of an inquiry-based curriculum.
Call to attention
Upon entering the mini theater and once classes are seated the fox cub sign will be used to call the audience to attention during learning celebrations. Students will be encouraged to listen to learn.

Learning Celebration Wonderings
Our goal is to think through as much as possible before rolling plans out. We however recognize a perspective or consideration may have been overlooked (namely scheduling conflicts). Let me know questions you may have. Thanks!
We develop students who care about the world we live in and express critical thinking through natural curiosity and wonder.
