Ross Steven Scelfo
Who am I?
Athlete
As of now, I am an athlete at SMHS. I play football and baseball. I dedicate my time to these two great sports and many things can be learned from these sports.
Student Athlete
On top of sports, I am a student. My main focus is to make great grades so I can get into a god school and make a living for me and my family.
A faithful athlete
On top of playing sports, I give thanks to God. For my abilities, my talents, and everything that he blesses me with.
Who do you want to become?
A true follower of Christ
I want to live out my life and be one with Jesus Christ. I want to live like him, be like him, and be as great as a man as he was.
I want to become a father
Being a father is one of the greatest things any man can ever ask for. I want to be a father, and while being a father I want to be a great father. I want to be someone my son/daughter can look up to.
Professional Athlete
I want to become a pro-athlete more than absolutely anything. This means the world to me.
What are your dreams in life?
Get an athletic scholarship
Right now, one of my current dreams is to get an athletic scholarship for baseball at a D1 school.
Play in the MLB
One of the dreams I've had my whole life is to play professional baseball. It would absolutely be the greatest thrill of my life.
Support my family
One of my dreams is to make enough money to take care of my family. My brothers, sister, and of course my parents who have all done so much for me in my life and they deserve that.
What will future Ross look like?
Graduate High School
Graduating high school is definitely in the future for me. It's the first step to becoming a successful person in this world.
Play college baseball
I will definitely play college baseball. No matter where, I love the sport with everything in me, and I have faith God will bless me with the opportunity to play.
Who knows?
God controls my future. My future in baseball, school, sports, life, he controls it all. We shall see where he takes me.
What do I believe my voaction is?
My vocation as of now is to be a great student, a great athlete, and most importantly a great son to my parents. Don't forget, I am called to be a follower of Christ and to be faithful in every single way.
Where is Christ in my life?
Christ is everywhere. In everything we do, in everything we see, and definitely in every person we meet. Christ wants us to know him and love him. It's up to us whether or not we respect his place in our lives.
