Symbiosis

Symbiosis is..
When two species have a relationship because they can't live without each other.
The three types are: Mutualism, Commensalism, Parasitism.
Mutualism
The way two organisms of different species exist in a relationship in which each individual benefits from the activity.
Ex. A humming bird gets food from flowers, the flower get pollenated.
Commensalism
One organism benefits from the relationship, while the other species involved neither benefits nor is harmed.
Ex. A clownfish seeks shelter in a anemone because it harms other fish, but the anemone stays the same.
Parasitism
A non-mutual symbiotic relationship between species where one, the parasite benefits at the expense of the other, the host.
Ex. A mosquito gets blood from organisms and it harms the host.
