HFRCS Newsletter SY 2022-2023

February 7, 2023 - Vol.2 Issue 23

From the Principal's Office

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Last week, our school celebrated the awesome aspects of Catholic education. It was a great reminder of all that we have to be grateful for in our Catholic school community, specifically our Holy Family family. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make Catholic Schools Week a wonderful experience!

This Friday we will celebrate our EAGLES and have a free EAGLES dress down day in anticipation of the Super Bowl! Students may wear their jerseys, shirts and EAGLES green! Go Birds!

In two weeks, our teachers will be presenting the second Safe Environment lesson to our students. Personal safety for our students is our highest priority. These lessons on personal security and safety are presented at grade level, and help students to learn to identify unsafe situations, learn what to do, and who and where to go for help. Please see this newsletter for more information on Safe Environment lessons.

Looking ahead, our Student Council is sponsoring a Candy Gram lollipop sale for Valentine’s Day. Each Candy Gram is $1. Candy Grams will be sold in the cafeteria at lunch. Also, on Tuesday, February 14, the Student Council will be having a $1 Valentine Dress Down Day. Students may wear red and pink or anything with hearts.

Finally, today we begin sharing our Graduate Profiles. It is hard to believe that our 8th grade is winding down their time here at Holy Family! We are proud to share the accomplishments and words of wisdom from our school leaders. Graduate Profiles will be shared from now until the second week of June.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Mrs. Haggerty

- If your child has exited your vehicle but the vehicle in front of you still needs to be unloaded, please stay in line and DO NOT overtake the vehicle in front of you.

- Please DO NOT drop off your child(ren) at the front door when staff members are still available in front of the Parish Center for everyone's safety. If you do, your vehicle will be going against the traffic when you exit the parking lot.
