Burj Al Arab
Have you ever wondered what a seven star hotel looked and felt like? The Burj Al Arab is exactly that from the looks of the outside to the beautiful rooms inside. People from all around the world come to see this place and I am going to be telling you why they all do that and why you should go see it. The Burj is an important monument that represents how are history and buildings have improved.
The Burj Al Arab is a gorgeous skyscraper connected only by a bridge to a island that they hotel is built on. The hotel looks like a big v because it was designed to resemble Arabian vessel called the dhow. The Burj Al Arab is the third tallest hotel in the World yet surprisingly 39% of the hotel is non occupied space. Although the looks of this skyscraper is amazing , The interior is also stunning.
Even though the Burj Al Arab is the third tallest hotel in the world it only has twenty eight double story floors. The biggest suite in the hotel occupies over eight thousand square feet. While the smallest suite still takes over one thousand feet. There is even a helipad on the top of the hotel building. There is even a spot on top of the hotel where you can have events from tennis to even weddings. The man who designed this building was a English arologist named Tom Wright.
Tom Wright who was born in Croydon Greater London studied at the Royal Russell school. But then later went to Kingston university. Tom Wright became design director for the Jumeirah Beach Resort, Dubai, and designed the Burj Al Arab. It was conceived in 1993 and finished in 1999.
