Through A+ School Rewards Program, parents and supporters can help simply by registering their Stop & Shop card to West Warwick High School's ID number (06875) and then shopping at any Stop & Shop store. Academics for the upcoming week!
Students completed the chapter 2 science test last week and we will be beginning the third chapter in our science textbooks.
English:
Next week, we will continue to read "The Great Gatsby". Homework and/or quizzes will be announced beforehand in an email, as well as listed on the class calendar. Students will be given a vocabulary quiz on Thursday. It will be set 2 words for chapters 4,5,6 of "The Great Gatsby". Click on the hyperlink to access the words. I will give the words to the class on Monday.
Academic Literacy:
Students just finished reading the novel, "The Juvie Three". Today, they are writing a sequel to the novel. Next week, we will be reading "The Christmas Carol" and completing activities to compliment the reading. This will be continued after the holiday break.
History:
Students will continue learning about WWI in chapter 20 of our history textbooks. We will be completing a majority of the work this week, as a class. Details to follow, as needed.
