Academics for the upcoming week!
Students completed the chapter 2 science test last week and we will be beginning the third chapter in our science textbooks.
Next week, we will continue to read "The Great Gatsby". Homework and/or quizzes will be announced beforehand in an email, as well as listed on the class calendar. Students will be given a vocabulary quiz on Thursday. It will be set 2 words for chapters 4,5,6 of "The Great Gatsby". Click on the hyperlink to access the words. I will give the words to the class on Monday.
Students just finished reading the novel, "The Juvie Three". Today, they are writing a sequel to the novel. Next week, we will be reading "The Christmas Carol" and completing activities to compliment the reading. This will be continued after the holiday break.
Students will continue learning about WWI in chapter 20 of our history textbooks. We will be completing a majority of the work this week, as a class. Details to follow, as needed.
