Happy Labor Day

Important Dates and Information
Happy Labor Day Weekend Foster's Finest,
What a great week we had welcoming you all back. It was so exciting to see all of the students come through our doors. A very big thank you to the PTO for the breakfast treats for our staff as well as the wonderful t-shirts for our students. Hopefully you had the opportunity to chat with members of the Building Committee and were able to get information about the proposed new school. There will be more opportunities to get information about the project in the coming weeks.
Opening Day Grades 1-5 on September 6
Weather permitting we are planning on all of our classrooms assembling on the playground as they are dropped off. They will enter the building together as classes. After the first day of school, since there are no more COVID restrictions, students will be entering the building through the front door to the school. There will be no entry through the cafeteria or any other doors to the school. Please make sure your children (walkers especially) know they should come in through the front door moving forward.
Kindergarten News
If you are a kindergarten family and did not get the chance to attend Thursday's event, you have kindergarten orientation on September 7. Your child's teacher has sent you sign-up information so that you and your child will be able to experience the classroom before kindergarten begins on September 8. If you have not already signed-up please do so as soon as possible.
Curriculum Nights
Curriculum nights will be held on the following dates and times:
September 14
Grade 2 (6-7 PM)
Grade 3 (6:30-7:30 PM)
Grade 5 (7-8:00 PM)
September 21
Grade 1 (6-7 PM)
Grade 4 (6:30-7:30 PM)
Kindergarten (7-8 PM)
Due to space in the classrooms, we ask that you do not bring siblings to this event, unless their grade is meeting on the same night. Thank you so much for your help with this. More information will be coming on Friday.
