Life Group Leaders Weekly
Week Seven (October 28 - November 3)
OUR MISSION
"TO CULTIVATE MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS CENTERED ON GOD'S WORD AND PRAYER"
LIFE GROUP UPDATE
Greetings Leaders!
Can you believe that we're about to start week 7 of our Fall Semester of Life Groups? That means that there are only a few weeks left before the end of the Fall semester. This newsletter is a little lengthy because we have quite a bit to cover as we come to the end of this semester and begin planning for Spring.
This week I want to encourage you as a group to prayerfully consider where the Lord is leading you as a team for the next semester. An email from me regarding this will be going out shortly. We certainly do not want to assume that you will continue to serve in a leadership capacity indefinitely, so now comes the time to see what comes next. Please spend a few minutes with your Leader/Host tandem in prayer and conversation for the future of your group. Ideally I would love to hear from all of you by next week, Friday, November 2.
Also, Jennifer will begin looking toward gathering service projects for the Spring. She would love to hear from you with ideas and organizations where we can serve. Look to receive an email from her over the coming week with more details.
Finally.....you may recall around week 5 that I asked if there were any members of your group that you thought might make a good edition to our Life Group leadership team. Because we are always looking to expand the Life Group Ministry to make space for as many people as possible to join us and take part in our collective mission - "To cultivate meaningful relationships in God's Word an prayer" - next week we will begin asking each of you to make referrals.
In Christ,
Heather Thomas
