Our Learning Celebration
Please mark your calendar and plan to join us on Friday, November 16th. Our class will be presenting the K - 2nd Grade Learning Celebration. Our brief program will begin promptly at 8:15. It will last approximately 15 minutes.

Conversation Starters
As a way to foster conversations with your child about what we are learning, please ask him/her the following:
What are your five senses? How do the five sense help us know about the world around us?
Magical Mathematicians
Please read the following problem with your child and help him solve the problem.
Emma rode 5 rides at the fair. Gabriel rode 8 rides. Who rode the most rides? Who rode the least number of rides.
Your child can earn a special reward by drawing a picture to illustrate the math problem above. Please return the math work on Monday.
Reading in Action
Read a story to your child. Ask your child...
What happened at the beginning of the story? What happened at the end of the story?
Literacy Workstations

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Poston!
The boys and girls were all so sweet on Friday making Mrs. Poston cards and pictures for her birthday. Mrs. Poston was surprised when two of her sons and Zachary's girlfriend stopped by and brought her a dozen red roses.
