168th Lighthouse School in the Nation, Building Leaders
Tuscany Heights Elementary
"We, THE Tigers, will be inspired to LEAD, HONOR, and EXCEL today!"
We had a fabulous week back with the students at Tuscany Heights Elementary! We kicked off our first day of the week, Tuesday, with getting to meet and greet while finding out all of the fun holiday celebrations. We moved into the next day, 80's style for the 80th Day of School. It was so much fun seeing our students dressed in all the neon colors and bringing back some very rad fashion trends. We ended our week with PTA Presents... Magik Theatre at our 2nd Grading Period Awards Assembly. Student speakers took a moment to share important tips on how to have the best academic, attendance, and behavior success. They were followed by the Magik Theatre Science Performance that had them all in awe while learning. It was a great week! As always, thank you for sharing your sweet children with us.

Calling all Student Volunteers!
Does your student volunteer at Tuscany Heights through patrols, broadcasting, library lifesavers or any other leadership position? Does your student do community service through scouts or your church? Does your student volunteer at any organizations such as a food bank or animal shelter? If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we want to know so we can acknowledge your child! If you already have an account at the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) website then don't forget to log your child's hours. If you are new to logging hours, please create a PVSA account for your Tiger so you can start logging. Full instructions can be found on the Tuscany Heights PTA website: http://www.tuscanyheightspta.org/presidential-volunteer-service-award.html Check the weekly eBlasts for information on community service activities offered at Tuscany Heights during the school year.
