The Maycomb Enterprise
Local News of Maycomb 1939
Maudie's house burnt to ash?
The town of Maycomb woke up to the smell of smoke last night. The town gathered around watching Maudie Atkinsons house burn to the sweet feeling of dust. While saving as much as everyone could, Maudie surprisingly, was not very affected by this tragedy. She explains that she hated her house and can't wait to build a small house with a beautiful garden. It has also been reported that the disturbing Boo Radley put a blanket over Scout while she was watching the house disappear. What a creep!
Are the Finch's Black?
It has been brought to our attention that Atticus Finch has defended a nigger. He has been spotted many times throughout the town, spending a suspicious amount of time with the black. (Name insignificant)
It has made the town of Maycomb wonder if the Finch family is really who we think they are! Lets hope Atticus finch hasn't been convincing son Jem Finch and daughter Jean Louise Finch, that the blacks should be treated the same.
Is it even possible for the Radley's to get any more creepy?
A source of Maycomb has reported, as he was going for his daily stroll around town, he saw some kids approaching the Radley place. He said as he was watching the unidentified kids looking through the window, he heard a loud shotgun and saw the kids scurry off. The citizens of Maycomb have come to the conclusion that Mr. Nathan Radley shot a Negro in his yard. Mr.Radley must have no care into the world, no matter who shows up at his door, they will be scared away for good!
