Boosterthon Fun Run
Robison families!
We are excited to kick off our Robison's 12th Annual Fun Run on Wednesday, October 20th. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help our school and to strengthen our school community.
Our school has always relied on fundraising to provide exceptional opportunities to enhance student learning. And this year, we have more needs than we’ve ever had before, which means we need your support more than ever.
Our fundraisers allow for our students to have so many enriching and fun activities each year. Garden Days, playground equipment, take-home reader books, author visits, and the incredible holiday and end-of-year parties! The icing on the cake is that WHEN our students meet their goal, they will get to see their principal, Mrs. Gerletti, and their assistant principals, Mrs. McCollister and Mrs. Nespeca, KISS A PIG!!
We completely understand if your family is not in a position to financially support the school right now. You can still be involved by simply SHARING about our fundraiser with friends and extended family online at mybooster.com. Sharing IS supporting!
We are also super excited that our parents will be able to attend this year's fun runs. We ask that you register to attend for the safety of our students. IDs will be scanned if you have not already done this, and all visitors will be required to wear a nametag to indicate you have followed our safety protocols of signing in.

Some FAQ about WATCH D.O.G.S.
What is WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students)?
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative. Learn more about WATCH D.O.G.S. here.
What are the goals of a WATCH D.O.G.S. program?
1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
Who are WatchDOGS and how does WATCH D.O.G.S. work?
WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. school.
What do WatchDOGS do (while they are at school)?
During the day, WatchDOGS may read and work on flash cards with students, play at recess, eat lunch with students, patrol the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow, and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students but other students as well.
Many school principals have reported that the mere presence of a WatchDOG dad dramatically reduces reports of bullying. On the day of their participation, WatchDOG dads are given a brief review of their involvement and they wear an official WATCH D.O.G.S. t-shirt with a disposable ‘Dog Tag’ identifying them as a WatchDOG.
Rockets RISE!
Hi Rocket Families!
We have been working hard to implement our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) which we call RISE. We remind our students to “RISE up!” each day. Please review our RISE matrix, which shows how our students can show Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Effort in all aspects of their lives. Students can earn RISE Rewards and/or Class Dojo points for showing these positive behaviors throughout their day at school. These yellow rewards can be saved and spent at our school store (coming soon) and/or classroom incentives! Be on the lookout for future updates on exciting opportunities like our RISE Rallies, celebrations, and visits from JET, our Rocket mascot!

Gifted and Talented Information
Hello Parents,
The Gifted and Talent referral period is now open until November 30th. Teachers and parents are able to refer students to be screened in January. This year, all Kindergarten students will be screened for the program, so there is no need to do anything further for them.
You may request a referral form for students in grades 1-5 by clicking on the google form below.
To find out more information about the program, please visit our districts Horizon’s website at https://www.cfisd.net/domain/2373. You may also read the information in the link below.
