The LVES Family is a GREAT one to be part of!
Wow! What a whirlwind week! From Meet the Teacher to the first day of school, this week was full of energy, learning, and all things new!
As someone who is blessed to be the leader of this amazing school, I was blown away by the positivity and patience that I witnessed this week. You are the most supportive parents on the planet, and I can't thank you enough for entrusting your most prized possessions to us. We will continue to work to streamline our systems and above all strive to ensure that your students leave each day happy, healthy, and knowing they are loved!
P.S. I promise there will be more pictures in future newsletters- we were a little busy this week! :)
Meet the Teacher night was a huge success! Thank you to all our parents for adhering to our new schedule and for being patient with emails that went to spam folders! :) We loved seeing all the smiles and new faces!
First Days of School
We had a great first two days of school! They were filled with learning new things, beginning new friendships, and ALL THE SMILES!
Just a few reminders to help our next days of school go even more smoothly:
MORNINGS:
*Drop-off begins at 7:15 at our Civic Drive and Travis Drive locations. The front entrance is reserved for bus riders only.
*Help us remind your students to head to the cafeteria first if they need breakfast in the mornings. (It's free for all students!)
AFTERNOONS:
*PK-1st pick-up is on Civic Drive
*2nd-3rd pick-up is on Travis Drive
*ALL siblings pick-up is on Travis Drive
*Keep your yellow car tag displayed until your student(s) are loaded in your car
*Please do not exit your car. No walk-up pickups will be allowed beginning Monday without an orange dismissal tag.
Transportation Changes?- Email Marcella_Kuske@lagovista.txed.net by 12:00 each day!

7:30 Students enter classrooms
7:40 Tardy bell rings
2:45 Bus Rider dismissal begins
3:00 Car Rider dismissal begins
iPad Distribution
iPads will begin being handed out Thursday. Information about coverage opportunities will go out next week.
