Here are some important reminders:

• If your child has symptoms or tests positive, he/she must quarantine for 10 days.
• If your child is a close contact (within 6 feet, for at least 15 minutes, within 48 hours) of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has lost sense of taste/smell, he/she must quarantine for 14 days.
• Your child CANNOT test out of quarantine. Even with a negative test the 14 day rule applies.
• Students who have COVID-19-like symptoms and receive an alternative diagnosis from their healthcare provider (and those close contacts) may return to school immediately. A written physician’s note is required. A negative COVID-19 test is not an alternative diagnosis.
• Students who test positive or are in quarantine CANNOT attend any school functions. Please stay home if you have symptoms or are in quarantine.
• You may choose remote learning for your child at any point. We are happy to work with you to help determine what is best for your child and your family.
