A BIG Shout Out to All of You
Student Led Conferences Tuesday
I will be sharing with everyone a form that can be used for 8th grade reading and math and for 7th grade reading. I am going to try to add some space for general notes so that everyone can use it---you will just leave the STAAR information blank.
Remind students about the purpose of these conferences and that they are to share with their parents their progress this six weeks and this year.
Thanks,
Dr. H

HB5 and CNA Work
And yet s/he persisted!
1. NO CELL PHONES out in class.
If a student asks to go to the restroom, ask them to leave their cell phone behind with you. Many times they want to get on their phones in the restroom.
2. Bell-to-bell instruction must still be happening.
3. Keep students in the classroom.
4. Plan highly engaging activities to accompany the lesson.
