Good To Know
All-School Breakfast in the Forest Was Delicious Fun
Many thanks to all those who brought food, supplies and their appetites and good company to the Together Through Music & Dance All-School Breakfast! The new venue and arrangement made this wonderful event better than ever. We are so fortunate to be able to have community-wide events in a Redwood forest. Special thanks to the coordinators, committee chairs, room parents and school staff who made it all happen!
UCLA CPO Food Closet Grateful for TTMD Donation
This year extra food from the Together Through Music & Dance All-School Breakfast was delivered to the UCLA Community Programs Office Food Closet, located in the Student Activities Center in the Ackerman Building. This innovative program was started in 2009 by a UCLA student and has since been replicated around the country. The two students who received the donation, Nasima and Amna (pictured above), said the food came at an important time, with only two more weeks in the school year (and final exams!).
Many thanks to parents who helped clean up, organize the food, and deliver it to very grateful students in need. For more about the Food Closet, go to: http://test.studentaffairs.ucla.edu/article_foodcloset.html

Young Alumni Reunions Bring Together Classes of ’09 and ’13
On Sunday, May 31, we had two alumni reunions here at school. One brought together the Class of 2009, who are now graduating high school seniors, and the other brought together the Class of 2013, who will be high school freshmen in the fall. Students who left before Upper II were included, and many who could not attend sent along photos. They’ve grown quickly and beautifully! How fun to see everyone connecting again!

The end is where we start from.”
