Facilities Study
In partnership with Schaefer, Johnson, Cox, Frey Architecture, Andover USD 385 has analyzed district facilities and demographic data, and now we want to hear from you! Join us to learn about the history and research conducted for the study and the proposed master facility plan options. The meetings will also serve as a way for the district to gather feedback from parents and community members. We invite you to attend one of the Community Feedback Meetings:
Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at 7 p.m. - Meadowlark Elementary (1411 N. Main)
Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at 7 p.m. - Andover Central Middle School (903 E. Central)
Your input and attendance at facility meetings are essential to the district’s facilities planning efforts! To learn more about the facilities study, please visit usd385.org/facilitiesstudy.
Counselor Corner
Citizenship is our theme for November. The definition of citizenship is the status of being a citizen, along with the rights, duties and privileges of being a citizen. We are going to address ways in which we show good citizenship at school and in the community. We will also going to talk about all the things we have to be thankful for and take a moment to celebrate all the good things we have.
The holiday season can be a difficult time. If your child is having a difficult time, please know that I am here for all of them. I can help with academics, friendship, the battle to come to school or struggles at home. I am here to support and advocate for all of our students. Feel free to call or email anytime.

Fall Family Frolic
From the Nurse's Office--Mrs. Tauke and Mrs. Clopton
From the Library--Mrs. Ohlund
Schools with a strong school library program and a certified school librarian ensure their students have the best chance to succeed. Certified school librarians make the whole school more effective. They teach students how to learn and help teachers drive student success. Learn more about today's school libraries.
Be sure to check out the Cottonwood library webpage. You and your student will find the world book, the card catalog and AR book finder. If you have any questions about our library program, please don't hesitate to stop by or give us a call.
