Spring Field Trips!
Please be watching your student’s home folders and emails from teachers about possible upcoming field trips. There usually is a permission slip needed for each one. Please remember to pack a lunch for these days or ask your student’s teacher to order them a bag lunch from the cafeteria for that day. Thank you to the Red Wing Foundation and I.L.F., who have assisted with some of our admission and transportation costs for 1st-grade trips.
Kelly and Prigge’s Kindergarten classes go to the Perkins Family Farm on May 23rd.
Swanson & Fox’s 1st graders go to the Carpenter Nature Center on May 24th.
6th-grade band students will visit the High School
Johnson and Enright’s Kindergarten classes go to the Perkins Family Farm on May 25th.
Harteneck and Larsen/Tittle’s 1st graders go to the Carpenter Nature Center on May 25th.
Kindergarten classes go to Colvill Park on June 1st.

Thinking about Next Year
As we now know our configuration for 22-23, we would like to welcome you and your student to Open Houses at our sites so you and your students can tour the schools and meet the staff!
Incoming Kindergartners and 1st graders:
Thursday, May 12th @ Sunnyside Elementary from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Incoming 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders:
Tuesday, May 17th @ Burnside Elementary from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Incoming 5th, 6th, and 7th graders:
Thursday, May 19th -Twin Bluff Middle School from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Notes from the Nurse
Student Health Screening Checklist
Parents are required and responsible for:
- Screening their children for COVID symptoms each day Screening checklist
- Keeping their children home if they are sick
- Calling the school's attendance line (651-385-4550) if they are sick or have COVID-related symptoms
- Reporting COVID symptoms, diagnosis, or exposure to the district

Please understand that any child who is exhibiting or complaining of symptoms that resemble those of COVID will be sent home. Our school nurse will always err on the side of caution to keep our school safe for everyone.
Testing Results:
We now accept either a PCR (preferred) or 2 rapid tests taken a minimum of 24 hours apart.
Masks:
Masks are no longer required in school or on busses but are still recommended
Quarantine/Isolation Policy:
Updated policy says that a quarantine is no longer required for close contacts.
A 10 day isolation is still required for any student that tests positive.
