November Dates to Know

November 19th: Can donation deadline-bring to advisory

November 20th: 7th grade PBL donations due

November 21st: Thanksgiving Break starts

November 26th: Poinsettia sales due

Penrod's Poinsettias for Sale Until Monday, November 26th

It's that time of the year again. We will be selling Penrod's Poinsettias until Monday, November 26th.

We will be selling the 10 inch size for $26 in red, white and Jingle Bell varieites.

We will be selling the 6.5 inch size for $11 in red, white and Jingle Bell varieties.

To simplify sales this year all sales will be online through our square store. Feel free to forward the link to friends, neighbors and families!

The delivery date will be Wednesday, December 5th. The plants are usually delivered around noon and will be able to be picked up until 3:00 that day. We will be able to make separate arrangements for pick up on an individual basis so please email for a delivery time that would work better.

Can Drive This Week. Help Your Advisory Win~Accepting cans until November 19th

On November 20th, advisories will team up with another advisory to build a structure using cans to compete against the other advisories.

Guest judges will be coming in to score your structures.

The winning group will get a prize!

The cans we collect will be going to the Liberty Community Christmas Tree to help those in need for the holiday season.

So, let's make an impact and have some fun at the same time!

Donations needed for Seventh Grade Project-Please bring by Thanksgiving!

7th grade science will soon be starting a PBL on Thermal Energy where they will be constructing conductors and insulators.

The items listed below are some of the items that students might choose to use to construct their devices.

If you are willing to donate any of the items, please send them in with your child to give to their science teacher up to the week of Thanksgiving.

  • Empty tin cans (soup cans)
  • Empty cardboard boxes/shoe boxes
  • Empty plastic bottles
  • Ziplock sandwich bags
  • Duct tape
  • Balloons
  • Cotton balls
  • Modeling clay
  • Styrofoam cups
  • Plastic cups
  • Small Dixie cups
  • Hot glue sticks - mini and full size
  • Styrofoam packing peanuts
  • Aluminum foil
  • Straws
