Name That Book

READ! READ! READ! Robison Elementary 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade students will be participating in the Name That Book Program. The mission of the Name That Book (NTB) Program is to foster a life-long love of reading in all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. A list of books encompassing a wide variety of genres is provided, and students are encouraged to read as many as possible. This program culminates annually with a series of contests to celebrate the students’ comprehensive knowledge of the books. CFISD librarians chose the 100 books for the students to read. In November, students will form teams within their grade levels. At this time, they need to be reading the 100 books on the Name That Book List. READ! READ! READ! You may go to the School’s Library Home Page and find the list of books under the Name That Book link, handouts are also available at the library. Forms are due by Friday, November 11th. They will be asked to give up one recess a week!

Student Birthdays

Student birthdays are recognized on our daily announcement slides.

If you'd like to have your child's birthday celebrated at school, we offer parents the opportunity to purchase ice cream ($1.00) or cookies ($.50) from the cafeteria to be distributed to their child's class during lunch. In order for our cafeteria to prepare for this, you must give at least one week's notice. You may email michelle.mendiola@cfisd.net if you are interested.

We are unable to allow students to hand out birthday invitations at school, or to hand out birthday treats in the classrooms.
