  • Both males and females weigh somewhere between 22-45 kg.

African Penguin

  • Also known as the Black-footed Penguin
  • Confined to the South African waters
  • Grow to 60-70 cm tall
  • When their blood cools, it turns a darker shade of pink

Gentoo Penguins

  • The first scientific description was made in 1781
  • Live in sub-Antarctic Islands
  • Long tail
  • Faster in air, than in water
