Emperor Penguins
- Emperor Penguins lose their fluffy feathers as new ones grow in.
- It is the tallest and heaviest penguin of all living penguin species
- Both males and females weigh somewhere between 22-45 kg.
- Lifespan is 19.9 years on average
African Penguin
- Also known as the Black-footed Penguin
- Confined to the South African waters
- Grow to 60-70 cm tall
- When their blood cools, it turns a darker shade of pink
Gentoo Penguins
- The first scientific description was made in 1781
- Live in sub-Antarctic Islands
- Long tail
- Faster in air, than in water
