New film:

After Harry Potter fans watched the final film “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2” in 2011, everyone thought it was the end. Until four years later, J.K. Rowling announced the film called “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” .This will be released this year in November 2016. It is about magical creatures: Hippogriff, Nifflers, dragons, Leprechauns, gnomes and more to come!

Eddie Redmayne is the leading actor; he played Stephen Hawking in the Theory of Everything. He is a really good actor and he has won an Oscar. The story will feature Newt Scamander as the main character, and will be set in New York, 70 years before Harry's story starts.

It is about a book that was on Harry Potter’s reading list when he started at Hogwarts (and developed by J.K Rowling for comic relief). The book available to buy has funny notes in it made by Harry Potter and his friends.

Fans like myself are very excited about this film.

Theatrical performance:

This is a quote from somebody who visited the Harry Potter studio, “When you visit, you go in the first room to see about J K Rowling & her publisher & how the books came to be. Then you go into the cinema and see the actors talk about making the film. Then the doors open into great hall. This is what Harry saw on his first day at Hogwarts!”

I have been to the Harry Potter studio three time. It shows you the set designs ( Snape’s potions rooms, The great hall, Dumbledore’s office, Harry’s dormitory and much more such as, behind the scene actions and original costumes.) Scale models of Hogwarts Castle and Hogwarts express train are also on show. The train has steam coming out and you can go inside it. They say you need at least 4 hours to visit and I agree - you can buy butterbeer & butterbeer ice cream at the backlot cafe!

In December they have snow inside studios. The snow will never melt, because they are using fake snow like they did in the films and there is a stand that shows you how to make fake snow, frost and fire. The Christmas decorations in the Great Hall are the same ones used in the films. They have handmade Christmas crackers decorated for each of the Hogwart’s houses. Don’t miss it! Showing until Sunday 31st January 2016. The tickets prices are, “adults £33 and child £25.50”

The staff are very knowledgeable and tell you more about Harry Potter and that they are filming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in next door studio…though this filming is secret.

I really like this place because it is like being a part of Hogwarts, and that is what all visitors feel too! Especially when they have the snow machine on outside on a dark evening it is quite magical.
