Unami United
February 27, 2017
Dear Unami Parents, Guardians & Students,
At this time of year I am usually saying that spring is around the corner, but for the past few days it seems it has arrived:) We are certainly enjoying the warmer days while they last.
In preparation for spring, students interested in participating in spring sports attended informational assemblies and baseline concussion testing. Please see Unami's athletics page for all information related to our sports program. Click Here.
We hope you enjoy our letter!
Unami United,
Mrs. Lang
Principal

UNAMI SPORTS...
The Unami Wrestling Team officially wrapped up their season competing in the Lower Bucks County League Individual wrestling tournament in both Seeded and Unseeded competition. All the wrestlers gave the best effort of the season as they slugged it out in tough single elimination brackets. Ty H. took 2nd place at 115 pounds while Luke S. took 1st place at the 80 pound division by default and then chose to wrestle up from 80 to 95 Lbs. scoring a 4th place finish.
Three members of the team Ty H., Leo M., and Will M. followed the regular season by competing alongside schoolmates from Tamanend Middle school entering the South Eastern Pennsylvania Jr high championships under the banner of Central Bucks Wrestling. This is a two day 30 Team tournament with some of the best schools in PA District One competing for gold. The team fielded two squads who finished 16th and 23rd overall scoring multiple place finishes. The future stars of CB South High school wrestling look to be a formidable squad in 2019.
A few of the boys will be taking in some additional completion in the off season. Stay tuned for updates through the year as the wrestling coaching staff look to recruit and build the program.
