Back to School 2021-2022

Character Through Faith

Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!

Hello ICCRS Community!

I hope that you are all enjoying your summer vacation so far. Below you will find information to begin to prepare your child for the new school year. I'm sure families are wondering about what school will look like in the Fall. Our hope is that life in the school building can safely go back to "normal." Initial guidance has come out from the RIDOH and RIDE and the CDC plans to have guidance for schools within the next month. We will review ALL of these documents before making any decisions. In addition, school leaders will have meetings to discuss and ask questions. Please know that all decisions will be made with health and safety as our top priority. I thank you for your continued trust as we plan for our return.

Summer Reading and Math Work

Summer reading and math work can be found on our website under the Academics tab. If students are not engaged in some learning over the summer, they risk losing skills in math and reading. Our classroom teachers have compiled these activities based on our curriculum. We encourage all of our students to complete the work and read over the summer.

Supply Lists

Supply lists can be found on our website under the School Life tab. We appreciate you assisting us with the necessary supplies for your child's classes. Note, the calculator required in middle school is a graphing calculator and we welcome the donation of cleaning supplies in our classrooms! Thank you!

Kindergarten and Grade One Class Lists

Class lists will be emailed home in August. All summer work and supply lists are the same for each grade level.

The primary vehicle for communicating with our families is through email. Important information and documents can also be found on the school website: Families who wish to communicate with a teacher should consult the school website for a listing of all faculty and staff email addresses or call the main office to leave a phone message for a teacher.

A family directory can be found on Rediker. This allows families to contact each other should that be necessary. Families may opt-out of having their contact information listed in the directory on our Student Online Profile Form.

Saints News, a weekly newsletter from the principal is sent out every Friday during the school year with news and information for the upcoming week. Please email the principal if you are not receiving this communication.

School Calendar

The official school calendar can be found on the school website and Parent Portal. We have adopted most of the statewide school calendar. Dates or events are subject to change and will always be noted on the school calendar on the website and Parent Portal, as well as in my Saints News newsletters. Please consult the website calendar throughout the year for official details and changes.

Rediker Parent Plus Portal

New families will be receiving log-in instructions for our online parent portal at the beginning of August. In addition, all families will receive information on filling out/updating our Student Online Forms. This form contains crucial student and family details necessary to ensure your child’s safety. All Student Profile Forms must be submitted by August 15th.

Summer Email Information

As we do every summer, we are planning a number of building upgrades and projects to prepare for the upcoming school year; therefore email is the best way to contact the school during the summer months.

Family Handbook

Our school handbook can be found on our website. This is a wonderful resource for you to refer to when you have questions about a particular policy or procedure. Our handbook is updated each summer to reflect the most current policies. The 2021-2022 version will be posted on our website by August 1st.

All parents are invited to be a part of our very active PTO. The leadership team is so appreciative of the time and energy our PTO puts into planning events and fundraisers each year. We are currently l looking for:
