September Teacher of the Month and PTSA Surprises
The PTSA showed some love to our student and faculty chosen Teacher of The Month, Mrs. Jessica Buckley. She received $200 to be used for instructional purposes and a few other goodies. Mrs. Wagenheim received some funds for the garden and Mrs. Lassiter received some funds for theater. Each teacher received a Bundt cake too!
The students also got in on the fun. Each teacher chose one student who exhibited our Core Values to receive a Bundt cake. The August Student’s of The Month received one as well.
Thank you to Mr. Tolbert and the PTA for the generous donations. We had many community donators as well! Thank you!!
It was a great day!

SAFETY
SEE SOMETHING, HEAR SOMETHING.......SAY SOMETHING
Parents,
We will discuss this as a school on a regular basis (SEE SOMETHING, HEAR SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING) but it is essential for parents to have conversations and discuss expectations with your students in regard to safety and discipline. We are encouraging students to report ANYTHING they feel uncomfortable about or that concerns them. Students can report directly to a teacher, principal, or staff member, email, complete a Let's Talk, etc. If they share information with you, please let us know.
Parent or Student Concerns
Parents,
I am always available to speak with you about any concerns you or your students may have. Send me an email or give me a call in the office so we can schedule a time that works for both of us. We are in this TOGETHER!
