The Hall Way...
What a beautiful weekend! Hope all of our Northwood families were able to enjoy some sunshine. Today the office staff and I went on a road trip to deliver a banner to each of our staff members. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week so we thought it would be a great time to thank our staff for everything they do for our students and school. Many of them caught us during our surprise delivery and it was nice to see them in person, even if it was from a distance!
Thank you once again to our parents and families for your support during eLearning. We know that we could not do this without the support of our entire school community. We know this spring weather will make it harder for our students to, but please talk to your student about their work completion and participation in their classes. We only have fourteen more days of school. Wow! Now is the time to get caught up if they are behind. Please remember that students that receive in Incomplete for a class at the end of the fourth quarter will have to finish their work over their summer to move to a passing grade for the quarter. You will find information about how to check your students progress using Home Access below. We have been so proud of our students during eLearning and we know they can BE A WARHAWK and finish strong!
Stay healthy, safe, and take care of each other. We are all in this together. Warhawks, We Got This!

Student Locker Belonging Pickup is scheduled for May 15th
Over the next several weeks, custodians will be cleaning out student lockers and labeling bags with personal items enclosed. The middle schools will be offering a day to pick up materials if you wish to gather student belongings before the fall.
Please know this pick up in May is not a requirement, rather an opportunity to get materials before the start of next school year. If you do not want to participate, we will store your student's belongings safely over the summer and return them in the fall.
To pick up your student’s bag and ensure the items will be ready for a contact free pick-up, the form linked below must be completed. Please fill out the form linked below by Friday, May 8th, at 5:00 pm.
Filling out the form linked below will allow you to reserve a time to pick up these items at the school on Friday, May 15th. The form will allow you to select a preferred time slot and help us organize materials and expedite the pick up process. Cars will use the north entrance of the building and form a line into the circle drive. We will have signs and staff that will help direct you towards our gym entrance where a staff member will place the items in your trunk.
Item Pick Up Time Slots that are still available on Friday, May 15th:
1:00 pm-3:00 pm
3:00 pm-5:00 pm
5:00 pm-6:00 pm
We will not be collecting any materials from students at this time. Library books, textbooks, and curricular materials will be collected in the fall. For 8th graders, WNHS will collect your curricular materials in the fall, and send them over to Northwood. The same will go for those 6th graders entering Northwood. We will collect elementary materials and send them over to our feeder elementary schools.

Engagement and Grading in eLearning
Teachers and administration continue to reach out to students and parents regarding incompletes in each class. Students with incompletes for any of their fourth quarter classes will have to enroll in a new summer course to successfully pass their current classes. We have been encouraging families and students to work with teachers to ensure the successful completion of each class and appreciate your support of your student. Please reach out to Mrs. Hall with any questions.
Chromebook Issues?
District 200 families who experience problems with a Chromebook, or who have other technology-related questions or concerns, are asked to reach out directly to the D200 Technology Department. District technicians are working hard to help keep our digital learning running as smoothly as possible, and will respond to emails sent to the following address:
