While You Were Gone

The Learning Community rang in the holidays with loads of cheer! The festivities started with Mr. Harper's awesome band paying us a special visit and playing some of our favorite tunes such as "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer." The students loved it! A very special thank you to Mr. Harper and all the HGHS band members who made us feel so special! Next we got an unexpected gift from Mrs. Ruth Crabb! She made up a flavorful bag of goodies that we promptly devoured! Next, the students were given some assistance with making ornaments from some of their peers in Mrs. Mim's class throughout the week! Thanks for letting them come help, Ms. Mims! Another one of our favorite peer tutors, Ariel Martin, made up some gift bags for the students. She is a wonderful friend to us! To top it all off, Santa came for a visit! It was a week filled with joy, love, and lots of holiday cheer! From the HGHS Learning Community to you, we hope you had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Compare Reviews for Online Colleges

With a growing wage gap between those who have a degree and those with only a high school diploma, the decision to go on to college is easy. The challenge lies in finding a college that offers your degree program, at a price point you can afford, and the flexibility you need. With more and more people working full-time and going to school, online colleges become an attractive proposition. Flexible class times, remote access and multiple degree offerings make them almost as comprehensive as a traditional school, often without the exorbitant price tag. For more information visit
