Faculty applications are now being accepted for the Marine Corps' Educators Workshop at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. The purpose of the trip is to give a behind the scenes look at how young men and women are initially trained and transformed from a civilian into a trained Marine.

The program is June 11-14 and is fully funded (including round-trip airfare) by the Marine Corps. Spots are limited, see Jen Larimore for more information and application.

Ted EX Competition

Our school will be hosting our second annual TEDx middle and high school competition on Wednesday, March 27th in the cafeteria from 7:30-10:00 am. This event will showcase selected students who will present their speeches on the topic of “Triumph and Tragedy.” Our audience will also consist of selected students who will have a ticket to attend the event. If you have planning during this time, we would love to have you stop by and show your support to these students who have worked so hard on their speeches. The middle and high school winners will continue on to represent our school at the TEDx district competition. An SRA of the competitors and audience members will be sent out via email prior to the event.

If you have any questions regarding this event, please reach out to Dani Sauerwein (dsauerwe@pasco.k12.fl.us).
