Basketball & Holiday Activities
Basketball Unit
Dribbling cues = finger pads, waist bounce, eyes up
**We practiced dominant and non-dominant hand dribbling as well as V-dribbles.
Passing cues = step, push
**We worked on chest passes and bounce passes.
Shooting cues = balance, eyes, elbow, follow through (BEEF)
**We played PIG to practice shooting a basketball.
Activities included:

**Students had to dribble on a poly spot (circle marker) three times, and then students had to jump on the spot three times to "break the bubble."

Winter Wonderland Stations
1) Snowmobile Scooter Racing
2) Holiday Fitness Training (jump ropes, hula hoops, and exercises)
3) Holiday Dancing (follow along fitness warm up videos)
4) Make an Ice Statue (various gymnastics/balance poses)
5) Snowcastle Building/Cup Stacking
The younger grades also had the opportunity to practice basic ice skating skills using paper plate skates. Students also played a few other holiday-themed games.
