Anne Wien Announcements

School Newsletter for Week of October 12, 2020

Dear Anne Wien Elementary Families,

Today, October 12, is Indigenous Peoples' Day, so thank you for taking time to celebrate and learn more our state's Indigenous cultures and the Alaska Native people who were the first to live on this land, especially the Tanana Khwt'ana, the first to inhabit the land on which Fairbanks has grown.

It's hard to believe, but we have made it to the final week of 1st Quarter! Thank you all for your truly AWEsome support over these last months. Report Cards will be available electronically at the end of next week and also be sure to mark your calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 29-30.

With our community's COVID-19 daily case rates still in the "Red Operational Zone," we will continue with Remote Learning this week. Our district's Medical Advisory Committee will continue to make this school operating decision every Thursday, so stay tuned and keep wearing those masks!

Have a great final week of the quarter, Anne Wien families!
